Public Hearing to Review Changes to Quarry Conditions Oct. 16, 2018

Sonoma County Board of Supervisors meets TUESDAY, OCt. 16, 2018 to review the quarry developer's application to modify 3 Conditions of Approval mandated by the supervisors when the project was approved in 2010.  The modifications include a request to:

-Change the design of a traffic signal to be installed at Roblar and Stony Point Roads to help handle the increase in traffic due to hundreds of gravel trucks driving on Mecham Rd. to Stony Point toward Highway 116

--Narrow a 1.6 mile portion of Roblar Road west of the quarry access from 40 feet to 32 feet, including narrowing shoulders due to the developer's inability to purchase right of way from property owners as was indicated would be done when the project was approved in 2010

--Relocate 930 feet of Americano Creek to allow for road work and impacts to wetlands and riparian areas due to the road construction
